Zahi Shaked A tour guide in Israel and his camera [email protected] 972-54-6905522 tel סיור עם מורה הדרך ומדריך הטיולים צחי שקד 0546905522 My name is Zahi Shaked In 2000 I became a registered liscenced tourist guide. My dedication in life is to pass on the ancient history of the Holy Land. Following upon many years of travel around the world, which was highlighted by a very exciting emotional and soul-searching meeting with the Dalai Lama, I realized that I had a mission. To pass on the the history of the Holy Land, its religions, and in particular, the birth and development of Christianity. In order to fulfill this "calling" in the best way possible, I studied in depth, visited, and personally experienced each and every important site of the ancient Christians. I studied for and received my first bachelors degree in the ancient history of the Holy Land, and am presently completing my studies for my second degree.(Masters) Parralel to my studies, and in order to earn a living, I was employed for many years in advertising. What I learned there was how to attract the publics attention, generate and, increase interest, and assimilate information. All this I use as tools to describe, explain and deepen the interest in the sites that we visit. From my experience, I have learned that in this way, the Holy Land becomes more than just history, and that the large stones that we see scattered about in dissaray, join together one by one until they become - a Byzantine Church. This also happens when I lead a group of Pilgrims in the Steps of Jesus. We climb to the peak of Mount Precipice, "glide" over the land to the Sea of Galilee, land on the water and "see" the miracle which enfolds before us. This is a many faceted experience. Not only history which you will remember and cherish, but an experience which I hope will be inplanted in your hearts and minds, and will accompany you all the days of your life.

The Shadow of The Valley of Death, Jerusalem

11:15
Part 2 of the Jerusalem mini-series. In this episode, we explore the Kidron Valley. Season 1, Episode 38 Transcript: In the last episode, we walked through Via Dolorosa in the Old City of Jerusalem, which led us to the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus spent lis last hours before he was taken to to be judged. This Episode, we continue the Jerusalem tour as we descend into the Valley of the Shadow of Death. Jerusalem rests on the edge of two valleys: The Hinnom and the Kidron. Both of these Valleys do not have a pleasant history. The Hinnom valley is where some of the kings of Judah sacrificed their children by fire to Molech, who is believed, by some scholars, to be Satan. The Kidron valley, is where King Jehoshaphat overthrown the enemies of Israel, and where the Levites would throw away the unclean and defiled items to. The Kidron valley is located on the east side of Jerusalem. If we exit Via Dolorosa street through the Lion’s Gate, and walk a few minutes east, we’ll find ourselves in the valley of Kidron. Today the valley is a mix of ancient and modern graveyard. Since many Jews believe that they will be resurrected when Messiah will come through the East Gate, they are willing to pay big money to be buried as close to the gate as possible. So they could be the first to enter the new kingdom. If only they knew that the Messiah they are waiting for had already told them that "the last will be first, and the first will be last." As we descended lower into the Valley of the Shadow of Death, we find the monument which Absalom built for himself. Through generations, the Jews had an interesting custom to bring their children here and have them throw rocks at the monument, as a reminder to what happens when you disobey God. According to the Bible, Absalom was not buried inside of his own monument. Instead, he was buried in a shame way. Joab threw him into a pit and piled a heap of rocks on top. Today the monument is sealed, but in the early 20th century, they were able to get inside and find an inscription from the 4th century: “This is the tomb of Zachariah, the martyr, the holy priest, the father of John”. Could this really be the tomb of John the Baptist? During the rebellion of Absalom, King David, fled Jerusalem through this valley. Then he mentions this valley in Psalm 23: “Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” Because this valley is located on the east side of Jerusalem, it is covered in shadow most of the day. The overlooking monument of the wicked king Absalom reminds the fate of those who rebel against God. The burial caves scream “death”, and the adjacent valley of Hinnom points to the eternal lake of fire. It makes sense for David to write these words as he fled from Absalom, but it even makes more sense to apply it to Jesus. This valley is located right between Gethsemane and Jerusalem. So when Jesus was captured in Gethsemane, he had to actually walk through this valley, and into Jerusalem. Right next to Absalom's monument is what believe to the Tomb of prophet Zachariah. However, the archeologist could not yet find the actual tomb as they have evidence to believe that this is a monolith. Completely carved out of the solid rock and does not contain a burial chamber.

Adult dragonflies are characterized by large, multifaceted eyes, two pairs of strong, transparent wings, sometimes with coloured patches, and an elongated body. Dragonflies can be mistaken for the related group, damselflies (Zygoptera), which are similar in structure, though usually lighter in build; however, the wings of most dragonflies are held flat and away from the body, while damselflies hold the wings folded at rest, along or above the abdomen. Dragonflies are agile fliers, while damselflies have a weaker, fluttery flight. Many dragonflies have brilliant iridescent or metallic colours produced by structural coloration, making them conspicuous in flight. An adult dragonfly's compound eyes have nearly 24,000 ommatidia each. Fossils of very large dragonfly ancestors in the Protodonata are found from 325 million years ago (Mya) in Upper Carboniferous rocks; these had wingspans up to about 750 mm (30 in). There are about 3000 extant species. Most are tropical, with fewer species in temperate regions. Dragonflies are predators, both in their aquatic larval stage, when they are known as nymphs or naiads, and as adults. Several years of their lives are spent as nymphs living in fresh water; the adults may be on the wing for just a few days or weeks. They are fast, agile fliers, sometimes migrating across oceans, and often live near water. They have a uniquely complex mode of reproduction involving indirect insemination, delayed fertilization, and sperm competition. During mating, the male grasps the female at the back of the head or on the prothorax, and the female curls her abdomen under her body to pick up sperm from the male's secondary genitalia at the front of his abdomen, forming the "heart" or "wheel" posture.

Death Valley National Park Road Trip - How You DON'T Want It To End

11:04
Death Valley National Park Road Trip If you're not a big fan of the heat, but want to know what it's like inside Death Valley, this Death Valley tour video might help. This is the road trip my friend and I took just before summer. -- MY MAIN GEAR: Camera Body - http://amzn.to/2sNIhiE GoPro HERO 4 Black - http://amzn.to/2sNLw9R Rode Mic - http://amzn.to/2sNgQ8J Canon Lens- http://amzn.to/2sNPcIq Tokina Lens- http://amzn.to/2va7eWn GlideCam Stabilizer - http://amzn.to/2sNLwXj Camera Bag - http://amzn.to/2va3cgj Bobby's amazing camera - http://amzn.to/2ufCmal -- Death Valley is one of the hottest places in the world. It’s also a short 4 hour drive away from Los Angeles. With summer approaching, I wanted to take a road trip out to Death Valley before it got too hot. My friend Bobby went with me. Neither of us had been, yet. We were only there two days yet I’d say we did learn how to road trip Death Valley successfully by failing at a few things first. Here are some basic tips to get you started: Bring a hat, sunscreen, and lots of water. And make sure you are 100% confident in whatever car you are taking out there. The conditions are rough. There’s virtually no cell phone service and no relief from the sun if you get stranded. Also, Death Valley camping is a thing, but I suggesting you know what you're doing. Because we wanted to make things simple, we just stayed in a motel in Beatty, right outside the park. As I said, we planned on making this road trip to Death Valley a simple one, but it turned out to be the opposite of that because of car trouble. I had to get my car towed. I’ll let the video explain that. Here are some more tips if you’re traveling to Death Valley: What to see when visiting Death Valley: -Father Crowley Vista -Rhyolite Ghost Town -Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes -Badwater Basin -Devil’s Golf Course -Artist’s Drive -Artist’s Palette -Zabriskie Point (I don't know for certain, but this seemed to be a popular Las Vegas to Death Valley tour route destination. It was super crowded with lots of tour buses and people pouring out.) -Dante’s View My favorites: Badwater Basin, Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes, Artist’s Drive/Palette Devil’s Golf Course was pretty cool too. But mainly just because it’s fun to walk on. It’s razor sharp though. Also, If you road trip Death Valley, consider the car you bring because there are certain roads that are only good for high clearance vehicles. Most of top sights are all accessible via paved roads, but there are a few (like the Race Track) that aren’t. Where to stay in Death Valley: We stayed overnight in a town called Beatty. It’s right outside the east edge of Death Valley and much cheaper. There are also some town-like areas (used town very loosely) inside the park with hotels, cottages, and camp grounds. Consider staying in Furnace Creek, Stovepipe Wells, or Panamint Springs. If you're looking for hotels near Death Valley, you don't have many options. I'd say Lone Pine to the west and Beatty to the east are your best options. Death Valley camping sites can be found all over the park. But again, make sure you know what you're doing and go in a cooler month. We went in May to beat the heat, but it didn’t work. Death Valley weather is crazy. It was 110 and 111 the days we were there. The week before the weather was in the 90’s. The NP website actually says May is usually when it starts getting too hot for visitors. I hope you enjoy watching our Death Valley tour via video. It was definitely quite the experience. Zahi Shaked A tour guide in Israel and his camera [email protected] +972-54-6905522 tel סיור עם מורה הדרך ומדריך הטיולים צחי שקד 0546905522 My name is Zahi Shaked In 2000 I became a registered liscenced tourist guide.

If you are looking for things to do and see in Death Valley National Park with Kids, here are 7 great things! This year is another "Super Bloom" year in Death Valley National Park in California. When the cold winds of winter are making you dream of warmer climates, Death Valley is a great place to visit with the family. Here are seven kid friendly sites to see in America's lowest national park from our visit in 2015 --a super bloom year. More on Death Valley on the blog: Death Valley with kids and families: http://travelingmel.com/death-valley-with-kids/ Almost home in Death Valley: http://travelingmel.com/almost-home-in-death-valley/ Music: Jukedeck Subscribe for new videos: https://goo.gl/C1tTjK Blog: http://travelingmel.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/TravelingMe... Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TravelingMel Filmmaking: iphone 4s Premiere Pro From Wikipedia: Death Valley National Park is an American national park that straddles the California—Nevada border, east of the Sierra Nevada. The park boundaries include Death Valley, the northern section of Panamint Valley, the southern section of Eureka Valley, and most of Saline Valley. The park occupies an interface zone between the arid Great Basin and Mojave deserts, protecting the northwest corner of the Mojave Desert and its diverse environment of salt-flats, sand dunes, badlands, valleys, canyons, and mountains. Death Valley is the largest national park in the lower 48 states, and the hottest, driest and lowest of all the national parks in the United States. The second-lowest point in the Western Hemisphere is in Badwater Basin, which is 282 feet (86 m) below sea level. Approximately 91% of the park is a designated wilderness area. The park is home to many species of plants and animals that have adapted to this harsh desert environment. Some examples include creosote bush, bighorn sheep, coyote, and the Death Valley pupfish, a survivor from much wetter times. UNESCO included Death Valley as the principal feature of its Mojave and Colorado Deserts Biosphere Reserve in 1984. A series of Native American groups inhabited the area from as early as 7000 BC, most recently the Timbisha around 1000 AD who migrated between winter camps in the valleys and summer grounds in the mountains. A group of European-Americans, trapped in the valley in 1849 while looking for a shortcut to the gold fields of California, gave the valley its name, even though only one of their group died there. Several short-lived boom towns sprang up during the late 19th and early 20th centuries to mine gold and silver. The only long-term profitable ore to be mined was borax, which was transported out of the valley with twenty-mule teams. The valley later became the subject of books, radio programs, television series, and movies. Tourism expanded in the 1920s when resorts were built around Stovepipe Wells and Furnace Creek. Death Valley National Monument was declared in 1933 and the park was substantially expanded and became a national park in 1994. The valley is actually a graben with the oldest rocks being extensively metamorphosed and at least 1.7 billion years old. Ancient, warm, shallow seas deposited marine sediments until rifting opened the Pacific Ocean. Additional sedimentation occurred until a subduction zone formed off the coast. In 2013, Death Valley National Park was designated as a dark sky park by the International Dark-Sky Association. death valley national park, death valley california, things to do in death valley, death valley for kids, death vally, death valley attractions, death valley kids, things to see in death valley, expedia death valley, death valley, death valley national park, california, mojave, nps, badwater, badwater basin, devil's golf course, dante's view, dante's view ridge, mt. perry, national park, desert, hiking, camping, backpacking, golden canyon, artist's drive, mesquite sand dunes, sand dunes, sunset, darwin falls, mosaic canyon, roadtrip, summit, mountains, geology, views, camping and hiking, travel, trail, stargazing, campfire, lizard, snake, artist's palette, , abandoned mines in death valley, death valley, abandoned mine, mines death valley, ran out of gas, abandon in desert, 100 years old, old abandon mines, blocked off, no trespassing, people that lived in caves, 100 year old mines, stranded in the desert, breaking into mine, trespassing, not allowed, exploring abandoned mines, abandon mine, funk bros, capron funk, corey funk, mine house, death valley national park best hikes, when did death valley become a national park, death valley backcountry camping, death valley trees, valley of fire, Nevada, valleyoffire, the wave, TravelingMel

Death Valley A Valley Of Moving Stones Urdu Hindi

03:36
Death Valley is a desert valley located in Eastern California. It is one of the hottest places in the world at the height of summertime along with other deserts in Africa and in the Middle East.[3] Death Valley's Badwater Basin is the point of the lowest elevation in North America, at 282 feet (86 m) below sea level.[1] This point is 84.6 miles (136.2 km) east-southeast of Mount Whitney, the highest point in the contiguous United States with an elevation of 14,505 feet (4,421 m).[4] Death Valley's Furnace Creek holds the record for the highest reliably recorded[neutrality is disputed] air temperature in the world, 134 °F (56.7 °C) on July 10, 1913.[5] This has been contested by other weather experts.[6] Located near the border of California and Nevada, in the Great Basin, east of the Sierra Nevada mountains, Death Valley constitutes much of Death Valley National Park and is the principal feature of the Mojave and Colorado Deserts Biosphere Reserve. It is located mostly in Inyo County, California. It runs from north to south between the Amargosa Range on the east and the Panamint Range on the west; the Sylvania Mountains and the Owlshead Mountains form its northern and southern boundaries, respectively. It has an area of about 3,000 sq mi (7,800 km2).[7] The highest point in Death Valley itself is Telescope Peak in the Panamint Range, which has an elevation of 11,043 feet (3,366 m). ********************************************* Death Valley, desert valley, Eastern California, desert, Africa, Middle East, Badwater Basin, United States, Furnace Creek, Nevada, moving stones, Mojave, Colorado Deserts Biosphere Reserve, Sylvania Mountains, Owlshead Mountains, Panamint Range,, horrible, fiction, science, wonder of the world, strange, unique, attractive, tourism, video, information, death, mystery
